The San Diego Chargers Vs San Francisco 49ers, A Hard Game.

The San Diego Chargers and San Francisco 49ers are surprisingly meet one game in their respective divisions. When they meet at Qualcomm Stadium on Thursday night, the Chargers and 49ers will try to continue their momentum and improve their playoff odds.

To win the AFC and NFC West respectively, San Diego (7-6) and San Francisco (5-8) entered the season as favorites. Both teams remain in contention with three games to play, but they’ve needed to overcome poor starts. Chargers is the four-time reigning AFC West champion, opened 2-5. But they have won five of six following Sunday’s 31-0 victory over first-place Kansas City, pulling within one game of the Chiefs.

The Chargers’ final two games will be visits to Cincinnati and Denver, which have combined for five wins.

[For me, that game doesn't mean anything if we don't go win Thursday], quarterback Philip Rivers said. [To me, that's the way each one of these games is going to be once we win them, then it's going to become a moot point if we don't go win the next game].

[I think we've put ourselves in a position now, one game back, obviously we understand nothing has changed. We've got to go win the rest of them. That's all we can control. You never know what can happen ... in three weeks].

After beating Seattle 40-21 on Sunday the 49ers find themselves in a familiar position. They have won fifth time in eight games in the division. After showing major promise with a .500 finish last season the strong stretch has helped San Francisco move past an 0-5 start.

Before hosting Arizona in the regular-season finale the 49ers visit the Rams next week.

[We're one game out of first], linebacker Travis LaBoy said. [All we can do is focus on the next game and try to keep knocking down the W's. Hopefully we can get some help down the road from other teams losing and rewriting that playoff picture].

Since 2002, to their first division title another strong effort from Alex Smith could get the Niners closer. He finished with a career-high 130.9 passer rating Sunday to lead San Francisco to its best scoring performance of the season.

Smith with a shoulder injury missed the previous five games. He’s scheduled to be a free agent in the offseason, and remaining in San Francisco might be unlikely.

[I'm not thinking about any of that (future) stuff, to be honest with you. We're a game back in the division and we're playing one of the best football teams in the NFL], Smith said. [Our backs are up against the wall and it's a short week, short turnaround. So I'm excited, and I think everyone is]. Facing the top-ranked defense in the NFL will likely be a much stiffer task for Smith.

San Diego scored a league-low 265.0 yards per game. The defense is also tied for third with Oakland at 38 sacks, one less than Pittsburgh and the New York Giants.

While holding the Chiefs to 67 yards — 19 passing The Chargers collected four sacks against them — for the second-fewest allowed in team history.

[As long as we take care of our business, they won't put 40 up on us], said cornerback Antoine Cason, San Diego’s leader with four interceptions. [I truly believe that. For us to be a confident team like we are, we need to prepare like we always have during this short week. If we take care of our business, we're going to be fine].

Rivers will now contend with a 49ers defense that collected a season-high four interceptions last weekend, returning one for a score.

With San Francisco, San Diego has won the last two meetings, including 20-17 in overtime in November 2002 at home.

Oklahoma City and New Orleans Hornets both wants to beat each other.

Against the Oklahoma Thunder franchise Chris Paul has never lost a home game. Paul is joining the level of his team’s defense to gauge on Friday night’s matchup. Against the Thunder he looks to improve to 9-0 in his career at home. Paul is trying for the second time to beat the New Orleans Hornets this season.

Wednesday New Orleans (14-7) limited scored 37.5 percent shooting in a 93-74 victory. The Hornets return from Sunday’s result, where they defeated by Spurs at 109-84 at San Antonio. Against New Orleans, Spurs shot 58.6 percent, the highest mark this season.

[Our defense was really good tonight], Paul said. [Detroit has been struggling. We had two really good practices going into this game, so it's really going to tell if it translates into the Oklahoma City game].

Against the Thunder franchise Paul is averaging 18.1 points and 10.0 assists in eight home games. In the series he played in 10 straight wins overall before Oklahoma City won 95-89 at home Nov. 29 despite his 17 points and 14 assists.

In third straight over the Hornets Kevin Durant scored 26 points and 11 rebounds in that victory. Against New Orleans Durant lost his first seven games despite a 26.0 scoring average.

Russell Westbrook’s improvement while facing Hornets, come to the spotlight. He averaged before averaging 22.7 points and 10.0 assists in winning the last three, 14.2 points on 35.6 percent shooting and 5.8 assists in losing his first five games to New Orleans.

Wednesday David West scored 25 points and Marco Belinelli added 22. That was the Hornet’s first victory since the league announced its planned purchase of the club.

[We've got an understanding of what the situation is, but we've got to be able to separate that from what we can control and just go out here and play ball], West said. [The best situation for us is to win games and make what this organization is attractive by winning games and move on from there].

In Wednesday’s 111-103 victory at Minnesota Durant had 30 points and 11 rebounds and Westbrook scored 25 as the Thunder rallied from a 19-point deficit.

[We've been through a lot], Durant said. [We've lost games down the stretch, won games down the stretch. We've won big, we've lost big. So, we've been through a lot and we've learned a lot in those times. We were able to come out here and get a good win].

Energy Solutions Arena, Salt Lake City, UTAH

Miami Heat has won its last 5 games by allowing no side to score more than 82.2 points on 37 percent scoring rate. Outstanding considering the slow start to the year.

LeBron James has been in great touch and has avg 33 points in 7 games vs Utah most when Utah was at full strength. D.Wade also has a season best 39 points vs Utah this season.

The heat are 4/5 on the road and seems to be in no mood when taking on Western C teams. Dallas Mavericks thumped Heat on the road 106/95 in the West and while the Heat took that game to fire back with a 5/0 run beating BUCKS 88/78 in the west.

Dallas Mavericks recent trip to Utah was another thumping 93/81 but recovered well to beat Memphis Grizzlies 94 /85 2 days ago at Home.

This matchup is very exciting and will be the best NBA game of the day. To watch it go to www.fromsport.com or go to espn.com for game cast.

Utah beat Miami Heat at Miami in Nov 10 in Over Time 116/114 that game will spark a major REVENGE play as Miami was in front by 18 in the 4th Q. Please look at this video to see.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0LZWqhCFGVA please click the blue link.

Our tip is LeBron James and Co will be too strong and too hungry to bounce back and make the running. The paint is the key and from what we see Utah could be in trouble as the loss to Dallas was a lot worse than Heat in Dallas. The fact the Heat are keeping side to 82.2% has us to believe the Offense of the HEAT will be too hot for the Utah Jazz.

Back Miami Heat at 2.00

The Celtics is going to beat The Nuggets, if luck don’t betray.

On Wednesday night Boston hosts Denver hoping Rondo can overcome the hamstring and foot injuries. For this reason he was not at ground last Sunday. Just before the Boston Celtics most recent victory Rajon Rondo took himself out of the lineup. Despite the uncertainty surrounding their star point guard, while delaying a milestone for Denver Nuggets coach George Karlthe, Celtics look to extend their winning streak.

With a strained hamstring Rondo sat out three straight games Nov. 21-24, but he returned for the following four games and had at least 10 assists in each — including 19 on Friday against Chicago in a 104-92 win.

Though Sunday at New Jersey he warmed up, but decided he couldn’t play. [It was literally about two seconds before the game was going to start], coach Doc Rivers said. [I usually don't like that. It was really a last-second cancellation].

Rondo’s absence didn’t seem to bother the Celtics (16-4), who extended their season-high winning streak with a 100-75 victory to seven games.

Nate Robinson scored a game-high 21 points with six assists and made his fourth start in Rondo’s place. Robinson likely will get the nod again, If Rondo is forced to rest Wednesday. [I just go about things the same way], Robinson said. [I just play the same way as if I was coming off the bench].

After left Sunday’s game with a sore right calf, Shaquille O’Neal’s status is also uncertain for the Celtics.

Against the Nets Paul Pierce scored eight points, in his last 41 games marking only the second time he hasn’t scored in double figures. Pierce averaged with 25.7 points in 22 career games against Denver. Karl hopes to earn his 1,000th NBA head coaching victory.

At Charlotte Tuesday the Nuggets (13-7) failed in their first attempt in a 100-98 loss. So Denver’s is dreaming a seven-game winning streak. Chauncey Billups scored 25 points, but he missed the potential game-tying shot as time expired.

[It would have been something I'd have remembered if I won my 1,000th here], said Karl, who played his college basketball at North Carolina. [But hopefully we'll get it on this trip].

Boston is the second stop on a four-game road trip the Nuggets hope doesn’t visible their previous contests away from home. Including five losses in the last six Denver is 3-6 on the road  — compared to 10-1 at the Pepsi Center.

[I think defensively our urgency was not where it should be to win when you're playing on the road], Karl said Tuesday.

Billups, by the Celtics selected No. 3 overall from 1997. In 28 career games he averaged 17.8 points against his former team, which traded him during his rookie season.

Carmelo Anthony in four games has averaged 18.8 points since leaving with an illness early in Denver’s 138-133 win on Nov. 28 against Phoenix. Following that contest Anthony hasn’t missed any more time, but in the 15 games he averaged 25.2 prior to the illness.

The Nuggets have lost 17 of the last 20 meetings in Boston, where the Celtics are 9-1 this season. So the way of win is clear for Celtics if the luck don’t betray .

Barcelona v Rubin Kazan

Camp Nou
Football : Champions League
Tuesday 7th December 7.45pm KO

2 Copenhagen 5 2 1 2 4 4 0 7
3 Rubin Kazan 5 1 3 1 2 2 0 6
4 P’thinaikos 5 0 2 3 1 10 -9 2

BARCELONA

Tonights game for Barcelona will be a bit of a strange one as they have already qualified as group D winners but have the formality of entertaining Rubin Kazan in the final game who still have a slim chance of qualification themselves. There will still be plenty of motivation here though as Barcelona are yet to beat Rubin Kazan in 3 attemps having drawn their last to away games against them and last year being beaten 2-1 at home!

As you would expect Guardiloa has taken the opportunity to rest a number of the stars with Alves, Xavi, Villa, Pedro and Keita not involved aswell as the injured Milito but interestingly the team tonight might not be as weakened as many people might have been expecting for a couple of reasons. The first being pride and to finally get a win over the team who they have annoyingly never beaten but the major factor is that the Barcelona B team have an important re-arranged fixture against top of the table Betis tomorrow and as Guardiola said in the pre-match interview , “I was going to rest some of my players but as I don’t want to disturb the B team preparations, I don’t think I will be able to do that…..” So, I’m thinking this may be a team with a sprinkling of first teamer’s backed up by some reserves rather than B team players.

Barcelona are in a real rich vain of form at the moment and I think they will want to finish off the group stages unbeaten and with a victory. I expect the job to be done early to enable Guardiola the comfort of resting the legs of the likes of Messi and Iniesta in the later stages of the match. It is very rare that a team can pull of back to back results at the Nou Camp.

Possible Lineup : Pinto, Maxwell, Puyol, Pique, Adriano, Thiago, Mascherano, Busquets, Iniesta, Messi, Bojan

RUBIN KAZAN

Rubin Kazin know that to qualify for the next stages of the Champions League they have to better the result of Copenhagen who are playing bottom of the group Panathinaikos tonight, so that basically means the small task of beating Barcelona at the Nou Camp. They will take heart from the fact that they are becoming somewhat of a boogie team for Barca having met them in the group stages last year and pulling off a shock 2-1 victory away together with a respectful 0-0 draw at home. This term they managed to frustrate Barcelona once again at home with a defensive brick wall performance leading to a 1-1 draw.

The big problem for Rubin Kazan is the distinct lack of goals in the team, having only managed 2 so far in the competition and this will not be helped by the loss of Alejandro Dominguez and Aleksandr Bukharov who could have given some attacking potential. Tonight though they must go out looking for a win and I imagine they will endeavour to play their usual defensively minded game and try and catch Barcelona on the counter attack.

This though might be a tactic that will play into the hands of Barcelona who can afford a carefree approach to the game and look to entertain the fans.

Possible lineup : Ryzhikov, Navas, Kaleshin, Salukvadze, Orekhov, Ansaldi, Kornilenko, Kasaev, Murawski, Noboa, Martins

The Miami Heat wants to continue win streak against Bucks.

The Miami Heat is on fire riding on a four-game winning streak. Depending on last four match result they hope to continue the streak, look to win a season-high fifth straight when they visit the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday night.

Miami (13-8 straight up), appear to have finally hit their stride, entering this contest riding a four-game winning streak while covering the previous three outings.
[We didn't cave in at the beginning of the week], coach Erik Spoelstra said. [We just collectively decided 'How do we make this better?' Now we're going to embark on our first extended road trip, where it will just be us and there will be adversity out there. And hopefully, I feel we're a different team than we were a week ago].
On Saturday the team is coming off an 89-77 win over Atlanta. Chris Bosh finished scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds, Dwyane Wade had 26 and 10 and LeBron James added 22 points. Miami held an opponent under 80 points for the second time in three games. They are allowing 83.3 points after yielding 98.0 during a 1-4 stretch prior during the winning streak.
The Heat hopes the team unity will continue next upcoming trip and be able to defeat opposition next three games.
[Those are the best times], James said. [We can come together and do some things as a team that you can't really do too much when you're home or when you have these long homestands, because people go home to their family after practices and things like that. When we're on the road, it's just us. It's just us, and it's going to be a great opportunity].
Last season Miami struggled against the Bucks (7-12), losing three of four and splitting two games in Milwaukee. James has been on the winning end of 15 of the last 18 times he’s played them and traditionally enjoyed facing the Bucks. In those games he scored with an average 29.3points.
Other hand, Milwaukee is looking to build off the strength of a surprising 96-85 win over Orlando on Saturday after losing seven of eight. The Bucks entered their meeting against the Magic allowing 104.5 in the previous four contests, while they are giving up per game only 93.2 points.
Against an Orlando team they looked much better defensive. Starters Dwight Howard and Jameer Nelson were not on Orlando team. Andrew Bogut scored season-high 31 points and 18 rebounds and Brandon Jennings added 27 points and six assists.
For back injure Bogut missed the previous five games. He missed 11 of his 16 free-throw attempts, including eight in a row in the fourth quarter. He shot 13 of 20 from the floor and had eight offensive rebounds.
[It was definitely big for us to have Bogues back], John Salmons said. [He really set the tone for us at the beginning of the game ... Grabbing 18 boards, when we've been struggling on the rebound side, it was definitely good for us].
Due to a foot injury Milwaukee forward Drew Gooden is ‘doubtful’ versus the Heat. In the previous three games the Bucks had been outrebounded by an average of 11.7 boards, which played a big part in their defensive problems.
The Heat on fire riding on a four-game winning streak and the Bucks straggling for defensive problems. We may guess the win streak is going on which team on Monday night at Bradley Center.

Novak Djokovic vs. Gael Monfils
Sunday 5th December 2010
Current Price Novak Djokovic 1.25 BACK 1.26 LAY
Gael Monfils 4.56 BACK 4.58 LAY

Welcome to our Match preview for Sunday the 5th of December 2010. We have a Fantastic Game on our hands. Two of the most exciting players of MENS Tennis clash in an epic battle to who becomes victorious for their country.
Novak Djokovic holds a 5wins / 0 losses over the Frenchman Gael Monfils, however the defeats have been while Gael Monfils was erratic enigmatic and played on raw ability, not composure like we have seen in the last few months.
Both players are the very best Indoor players in the world. Both excellent movers with big serves and breath taking forehands. The percentage of error here is minute. The first person to crack will lose the set.
The odds here in our view are not the odds we fancy. Novak Djokovic ‘s price does not show the true value in Gael’s ability. His predicted pre match odds are huge value.
Gael Monfils is an impressive 37 wins 13 losses. Novak Djokovic 39 wins 11 losses. On Indoor Surface.
Since Gael Monfils beating Champion Roger Federer 7/6 6/7 7/6 in Paris in November, Monfils was in stunning form beating Serb Janko Tipsarevic 6/1 7/6 6/0 in the first round yesterday. Indoor Surface.
Novak Djokovic who was smashed by Roger Federer in the London Masters this month, losing 6/1 6/4. Before that in early November in Basel. Federer beat him 6/4 3/6 6/1. Indoor Surface.
Novak was impressive beating Gilles Simon France yesterday 6/3 6/1 7/5.
We are selecting Gael Monfils to cause a massive upset. However we will be trading to ensure your stake is protected in play. We will back Gael Monfils at 4.56 and be laying off the stake in play at 2.00.
2.56 is the return we set ourselves to make. We also will be laying Novak Djokovic at 1.98 for a 3 nil set betting market.
Both these trades to be placed in the view that Gael Monfils will out hit Novak from back of the court. Gael showed us that his defensive skills have improved out of sight and his form is about as close the to the best we have seen ever. Good Luck
